Our aim is to help people find new and interesting beautiful music. See, people find out about new music from friends, who found out from another freind, who may have read about it somewhere iin the mass of magazines and sites. We'd like to shorten that step by offering you the nod to good music right here. Consider us that 'friend'. We have also begun hosting perfornace series in select cities, highlighting certain artist that you may or may not have heard of. Another thing to mention: As we were trying to hear a sample of music from a band we heard of, or wanted to see if they were playing etc, we found it very time consuming tracking it all down. This is one fo the main reasons why we started this. To compile all the information with links to somewhere to listen to a track or two. Thankfully most if it is on Boomkat, but some is on myspace and amazon. We hope you find this useful too.
